This week we went to Chicago for work and play. My mommy presented a poster at a conference, and uncle Allen presented his liver at the annual WhiskyFest. Daddy, aunt Kate, cousin Adelle, and grandma Ann came along for all the fun. Here are grandma and me enjoying some time at the Field Musuem.

We spent a bit of time at this exhibit of modern american history. Fascinating to view 21st century formica tables with sodas and the tired feet of our ancestors Or at least my daddy kept making some stupid joke to that effect.

My mommy loves how the yellow flowers contrast with the juxtaposittion of the concrete. I appreciate how she frame the photo with the trash can and a homeless person. Ahhh, city life!

I wanted to re-enact the scene from Ferris Bueller here, but was vetoed. The only art we stopped for were these lions.

I don't see what the big deal was here! I just had little upset tummy, people. We went out for Indian food and I only chucked at least 6 times. This is a good example of the wreckage... notice my smirk. tee hee!
