wk 23

 If only I could crawl...
Oh well - playing on my tummy is not so bad
If I look really cute maybe mom or dad will come pick me up
 Or I could roll!
Now that I am on my back it is much easier to eat Mr. Butterfly - however he is quite rubbery
I don't know if I want to eat you again...
 Concentrating on my mobile
I can use my hands and feet to play!
Mommy likes to take pictures of us together - sometimes it gets old
I got to try prunes this week!
 I like dinner time
 Bring on the food mommy!
 I'm hungry!

 I'm gettin hangry!
 Post green bean coma
Hmmm...  I wonder what other things there are to eat...
 Can we play again?

Getting ready for bath
 Look at my towel hoodie!

 Peek - a...
 Boo!
 This is fun!
Just a few more minutes mom - then we can do the bath...
I like to play on my new quilt
Sometimes I just like to lay here and collect my thoughts
 Gimme the camera!
No pictures!  This is me and daddy time!
OK!  You can take a pic now
 Hi Mom!

Looking cute for the camera
H loves to stand and now stomps his foot

He also loves to stick out his tongue!

Hayden is the bounce back baby!  After a bout of viral conjunctivitis (and possible bacterial superinfection), he has recovered to his cute self.  He is rolling front to back and back to front (sporatically) and LOVES to play.  He is such a ham! Also has a lot to say I just can't understand it yet

Hayden is now blowing bubbles and using his fingers to make noises from his mouth - very funny
No - a cat didn't attack Hayden's forehead it was another kid!  Watch out for those one year olds!
 Side view of the carnage
Another success - carrots!  Not so successful - cleaning carrot stains...
 Who me?  Messy?
Hayden is quick to smile - very loving child
 More grins!
 Laughing with mommy
 Serious pose
Sometimes H can be intense - especially when it comes to watching ceiling fans
Even though Hayden can't sit up by himself he has fun trying - this is him after a valiant attempt
Beautiful quilt!  Thank you Aunt Jean!
 Sleepy boy
Sometimes I have a lot to say

Other times I am happy just sitting and looking cute
 Hayden orchestrating the Marsh household
Hayden's week according to H "Although mom shows lots of pictures with me smiling, I had a rough week.  It started with an ambush to the forehead.  Where do those one year olds come from?  Then, mommy decided it would be "fun" to go for a run with me in the jog stroller.  What wasn't so fun was the sudden rainstorm. Even though I kept coughing to let mommy know I wasn't having fun anymore, I still got wet.  Finally, something called an 'outbreak' happened at daycare.  I don't really know what that means but I didn't get to see a lot of my friends this week.  Then I woke up on Sunday and couldn't open my eye.  Mom keeps trying to put warm washclothes on my face but I don't like that either.  Hopefully this eye thing goes away or mom says I have to see a doctor tomorrow... as long as there are no shots involved...  Here's to a better week this week!

Spring time in Michigan!  Although Hayden is getting a lot bigger he doesn't look so big compared to our tree in the back yard!
Playing with the grass.  Hayden really loves to explore textures.
 Beautiful little boy!
 Getting ready for bed
Help!  I am falling down the couch crack!
Do we really have to read this book or can I just skip to the good part and eat it?
Boosting the Nielson ratings in the <1 year demographics
 Sponge bob or Squidbillies?
Definitely sponge bob - mom and I are way classier than squidbillies
 Tired boy
Hayden loves to grab people's faces now - luckily not too hard.
 Hayden and Aunt Connie
We went to Iowa to visit Ira's parents and this pic shows how excited everyone was to get all of the cousins together
 Cindy and Kate
The cousins - Adelle, Jake and Hayden
After this pic H shot above par
Meanwhile Ira showed the hammer who's boss
 Big smiles with grandpa Bill
As you can see Hayden was very stressed about sitting on grandpa Joe's lap!
21 years Hayden - not weeks!
Adelle enjoying time on Hayden's new truck.  He learned how to make the music come on very quickly!  Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Marsh for the new toy!
 Cousins playing
Mom and Hayden spending some quality time together
Green beans!  Hayden is such a good eater!
 Love the cute little tongue
Playing with the mobile -now on his tummy!
 Cute little boy
Hayden has such a great personality.  Love starting to see his mind in action!
We had a great week!  The weather was really nice overall and we got to go for a lot of outdoor walk/runs.  We also travelled to Iowa and Hayden did a great job on the ride up and back.  He is really adaptable and pretty easy going overall.  He tried green beans and so far has not disliked any foods (however we have an n of 2!)  Love this boy!  Can't imagine our lives without him!
